Advice an adult would give a teenager?

What advice would you give a teenager about the things that you may have picked up on as an adult?Advice an adult would give a teenager?
It is not important to have sex with every girl you meet; save it for that someone specialAdvice an adult would give a teenager?
there is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO very much that you learn as you get older. I guess for starters, I would have to offer this: think it out, above all be true to yourself and follow your dreams. don't sell yourself short, there is no one on this planet that is inherently better than you are. You can also reverse that last statement to keep you a well rounded down to earth person.
Listen to your mom! She REALLY does know best! Dont ever let any guy make you feel like you need to have sex with him so he will continue to like/love you. In fact, don't have sex at all. Think critically. Don't make impulsive decisions.
always tell the truth...it is easier to remember the truth.

you are somebody....behave like you are somebody.

be polite...no one ever complains about receiving courtesy.

most important..say thank you frequently...to God, to your family, to your friends, and to your self.
act in the valey so that you need not fear thoes who stand on the hill
money isn't everything. It's handy as all hell, and you need it to eat. But if you don't work at something you love, one day you'll wake up and it'll be too damned late.

and a small dependable car is better than a souped up hotrod that keeps breaking down and sucks gas.

ramen is a bad long term diet.

kids are expensive, and you'll end up buying them things you need that they need more. Like new glasses and contacts, dentist visits and clothes. That's why adults usually don't look as good as their kids.

computers blow up when you knock soda into them. Don't keep drinks on your desktop.
Don't rush anything. Anything you want to do in life you will get a chance to do so don't try to do it all in the teenage years. Just enjoy them for what they are meant to be - a learning experience.
BE CAREFUL! THINK ABOUT THE EFFECTS YOUR DECISIONS CAN HAVE ON YOURSELF AND OTHER PEOPLE.TREAT OTHER PEOPLE THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED.YOU DON`T HAVE TO BE PERFECT,NONE OF US ARE. DO THE BEST YOU CAN EACH DAY AND START OVER AGAIN TOMORROW.LIFE IS FULL OF TRIALS AND DISAPPOINTMENTS.THEY MAKE US STRONGER.YOU DON`T HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING OTHER PEOPLE EXPECT YOU TO DO.THE MOST IMPORTANT ADVISE I CAN GIVE YOU IS TO GIVE YOUR LIFE TO GOD AND LET HIM GUIDE YOU.HE WILL BE THERE FOR YOU WHEN EVERYBODY ELSE LETS YOU DOWN OR DON`T HAVE TIME FOR YOU.HE`S THERE 24 HOURS DAY.HE KNOWS WE`RE HUMAN AND MAKE MISTAKES.HE LOVES US ANYWAY.HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!!! GOD BLESS YOU!!
well i am an older teenager now and my mum always let me figure things out for myself. it was the best way to learn but iv gotten into some trouble in the mean time. i think the best thing to do is not stand around giving advice but to be as aprouchable as you can so when they do need advice they come you. giving teenages advice just makes them want to retaliate
Floss your teeth.

Get an education before getting married and starting a family.

Do NOT just move in with a person of the opposite sex... get the commitment and piece of paper first, even if you only have time for the civil ceremony.
Be true to your values. Don't compromise your beliefs because you won't feel comfortable on down the road.
Nothing is ever as bad as it seems, even with an anxiety disorder.
Do a lot of research before you chose a career to study for. Your career will be a major part of your life. Do something you love.
1. Protect your physical health when you are young and have the energy. Otherwise it will catch up with you later, and then it is too late. You may live a long life, but your quality of life will suffer.

2. Resentment holds no positive purpose.

3. Credit cards are not easy money. They are wasted money.

4. Most of your peers will not be remembered or matter in a few years after you leave high school. Everyone moves on. The sweetest moment comes at the time of your 10-year reunion: the ';popular guy'; who wouldn't even look at you in high school comes back fat AND bald. The ';hot stuff'; cheerleaders show up with the same hair style they had in high school, only now, everything else is sagging.

5. Sometimes things are just extremely difficult; there is no getting around it, but that's just the way it is. You quit and gain nothing; or plow ahead, you learn from it, gain strength, maturity and experience through the struggle. Either way, it's a choice, with corresponding consequences.

6. Whether you realize it or want to be, you are ALWAYS an example to someone --positive or negative. Again, it's a choice.

7. You damn well BETTER care about your reputation.

8. Your parents really did the best they could with what they had. Blaming them for everything is childish and keeps you a child.

9. Music and laughter really is a good medicine.

10. True friendship is unconditional, nonjudgemental, and fiercely loyal.
none ,you have to learnfor your self.
